Principal Librarian:development Projects
I am a former Principal Librarian: Development Projects employed by the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation from the year 2007 until 2022. I started working as an administration Clerk, empoyed by the Department of Health from the year 2005 until 2007. Then I worked as a Sub-Editor of the in-house journal called Free State Libraries(FSL) from the year 2007 until 2015. There my responsibities were to partake in the planning of the publication by providing creative ideas during the brainstorming meetings of the FSL Editorial Board meetings. I would also assist with the proofreading, manage the distribution of the publication and write articles. I then was promoted to being the Editor of the sane publication from the year 2015 until 2022. My main responsibilities wereto chair the brainstorming planning meetings, to ensure that FSL is of a good quality and thoroughly proofread before publication. My experience an an Editor has taught me to build strong relationships with other organizations.I am a writer, and currently looking for a remote job that I can do from home.
