Web Application Developer

Hi, I'm Haroon. I build web-application, I automate manual process, I love solving real-life problems. I was 8 years old when I decided I wanted to be an Engineer. Do you know why? It all because I wanted to build a robot that would do my school assignments. I have always wanted to automate a repetitive process. I studied Computer Science, where I learned a lot of Algorithm and Data structure, during my years of studying, I taught my self how to code and built several school projects with colleagues, driven by my dream to solve a real-life problem. After graduating with a CS degree, my first paid project was a Result system for Basic schools (built with PHP) which helps to reduce errors involve in result preparation by 90%, reduce the use of paper by 80% and reduce the time involved in result preparation by 90%. To improve my coding skills and stay on top of the technology trend. I started following Andela and freeCodeCamp curriculum where I learned Responsive design, JavaScript, React, Redux and Nodejs. I was able to build Geo-Search after taking DevCtraining with Andela in collaboration with OpenClassrooms. I’ve spent most of the last year refining my technical ( JavaScript, React, Nodejs, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS,) and soft (Remote pair programming/Communication/Mentoring/Collaboration)skills while a full-time student at an international software engineering school. I’m ready to start my next role as a Software Engineer. Language: javaScript, HTML, CSS, Ruby. Framework and Library: React, Redux, jQuery, Node.js, Express, Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, Saas. Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, ActiveRecord. Other technologies: Git, Github, Rspec, Capybara, jest, Webpack, Heroku.
