I am a graduate of Biochemistry but when I found it challenging to get a job, I decided to transition into digital marketing and I will tell you it has been eye-opening. I have helped local businesses create a business profile on Google so that their businesses can be listed and improve their SEO rankings on Google. I also have experience using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. In addition, I am Google Analytics Certified and have a working knowledge of Facebook Advertising. I can offer my expertise in post-scheduling using a tool called Buffer, the use of all social media analytics to assess how to adapt content to satisfy the needs of potential customers/monitor customers’ behavior. I can as well help with the fusion of SEO and social media to assist both search engines and users in better understanding your site’s authority, trust and relevance. I completed working as a Social Media Manager Intern at Dayo Adetiloye Business Hub in July 2023. In this position, I was responsible for preparing the content calendar and day-to-day running of the company’s socials. I also made use of analytics to assess the performance of various posts. After I provided recommendations for the company’s website optimization, organic traffic increased by 35% to 4500+ visitors monthly. I am currently working as a Digital Marketer at SkyShop Worldwide NG where I am tasked with creating and managing contents for the social pages, engaging with customers, bringing innovative ideas, running ads on social media platforms, strategizing new digital marketing campaigns and driving an increase in the amount of signups.
